About the opportunity 

We’re pleased to invite applications from Systems Engineers & Senior Systems Engineers to join our growing Transport and Infrastructure team in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland and Wellington. We work flexibly and are open to remote working arrangements and supporting relocation. 

Reporting to the Program Leads, your key focus will be on providing engineering lifecycle and systems engineering service and support to major transport and infrastructure clients.

You will work on/or lead specific engineering work packages to deliver required outcomes and liaise with a range of stakeholders including client teams and external suppliers.

 About you 

To be successful in these roles you will have:

  • Experience in one or more of the following systems engineering skill areas:
      • Concept development, including development of operational concepts, user needs elicitation, systems solution-class definition.
      • System architecture definition
      • Requirements definition and management, including elicitation, specification development and database management
      • Interface definition, interface requirements specification and management
      • Systems safety assurance
      • Systems engineering management
      • Systems integration, and verification and validation
      • Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) engineering
  • Highly developed team collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in managing project and technical risk on allocated work packages
  • The ability to work to tight time schedules to ensure deliverables are met
  • A Bachelor of Engineering in a relevant discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in engineering

While not essential, the following will be highly regarded:

  • Experience in writing tender documentation
  • The ability to use MBSE tools (e.g. Cameo Systems Modeller, MagicDraw, Genesys)
  • CSEP accreditation with the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE)
  • Experience using DOORS/DOORS NG for requirements management
  • Experience in the transportation or infrastructure domain
