Shoal Group has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Defence Connect Australian Defence Industry Awards as Consultancy of the Year.  This award recognises the defence consultancy that has most effectively capitalised on market opportunities and driven demonstrable business growth while supporting the strengthening of Australia’s defence and national security capabilities through their participation in the defence industry.

Shoal joins a formidable list of ten finalists that include defence consulting businesses across a range of disciplines, including strategy, operations, supply chain, cyber, security, analytical, professional services, graduate, IT transformations, delivery, decommissioning, M&A, supportability modelling and other related disciplines.

“Shoal has a long history of supporting Defence capability. We are known as a sovereign, independent and trusted supplier to Defence, so are delighted to be publicly recognised as finalist in the Australian Defence Industry Awards,” said Matthew Wylie, Head of Defence & Space at Shoal.

Across the defence sector, in Australia and abroad, Shoal provides systems engineering expertise to both government and industry programs, including strategic decision support; capability definition and development; modelling and simulation of defence capabilities; and analytics for evidence based decision making.
